Our ERC Starting Grant project Electric Field eFfects In Chemistry And CatalYsis (EFFICACY) needs researchers! We start building a new ultrafast laser spectroscopy lab very soon. Currently, there are open positions at many levels: from undergraduate research projects to PhD theses.

Undergraduate Researchers

Bachelor's & Master's Students

If you are an undergraduate/Bachelor’s/Master’s student enrolled at UZH (at any department) and would like to do a research internship with us or considering a thesis on a topic related to our research interests, please, contact Bogdan directly via email or drop by Y19 H72 on Irchel Campus.

Doctoral Positions

Prospective PhD Students

If you have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry/Physics or similar and are interested in a PhD position in the group, you can apply here.

Postdoctoral Positions

Graduating PhD Students or Postdoctoral Researchers

If you would like to continue with your postdoctoral research in our group, you need to get in touch with Bogdan only if you have a specific external funding scheme in mind. We do not have funded positions for postdocs at this point.

Academic Visitors

Any Level

If you are enrolled at another institution as a student/PhD student/postdoc and would like to come do a research stay with us, there might be possibilities to do so. Get in touch with Bogdan to discuss the details.
